REQUEST COMBINATION CODE AND/OR DUPLICATE KEY

STEP 1 - PREPARE REQUIREMENTS. To enable us to help you with the combination code or a duplicate key must provide the items listed:

  1. Completed Master Code or Key Request Form

  2. Copy of valid Government issued ID

  3. Proof of Purchase and Ownership

a. For Private buyers, sole proprietors:

  1. Proof of Purchase (e,g. Official Receipt/Sales Inv./Delivery Receipt) OR
  2. Notarized Affidavit of Purchase and Ownership

b. For Corporations/Partnership:

  1. Secretary's Certificate OR
  2. Authorization Letter by Officer of the company (as listed in the GIS) with an attached copy of the company GIS

4. Payment for code retrieval / key replacement



Step 2 - SUBMIT all completed forms to us via one of the following methods:

Choosing/Buying Our Products

It depends on what works best for you.  An electronic lock is simple, quick to open, and you can set your desired code, but requires the use of batteries; a dial combination lock, on the other hand, will last for a very long time if maintained properly, but the process of opening the lock can be a little more involved.

Safes

It depends on the model, but safes with keylocks typically come with two keys.

Yes, it fits flat.  The X125 model has internal dimensions of 266 mm x 426 mm x 294 mm (HxWxD), while the A4 bond paper measures 210 mm x 297 mm.

Yes, you have the option of bolting the chest down; however, the chest is no longer waterproof once holes are made to bolt the unit down.

This depends on the model.

For safes, we recommend the following:

  • Use alkaline batteries, this will vary depending on your model number.
  • Refrain from using rechargeable or Non-Alkaline batteries
  • Use quality name brand batteries
  • All batteries have expiration dates on them. Ideally, those dates are as close to 10 years out from current year as possible.
  • When changing batteries do not mix brands (i.e. all 4 batteries should be Duracell) or mix old batteries with new batteries.

After Sales Assistance

It depends on the model.  Many products include a 3-year limited warranty, and fire-rated safes come with a lifetime after-fire replacement guarantee (terms and conditions apply).

If there’s a keylock, make sure that it in the unlocked position, then replace the batteries (use only alkaline batteries—non-alkaline batteries don’t deliver enough power).

It depends on the model.  For models whose batteries are accessed from the inside of the safe, use the override key to open the safe. For models whose batteries can be accessed from the outside, replace the batteries.

Use the override key for models that begin with X, T, QAP, and GM; models LX110B, H060ES.
Change batteries on all filing cabinets; models beginning with S, SFW, STW and DH; Titan Elite safes.

It is possible that some debris is caught in the lock of your unit. To open your safe, follow these steps:

  1. Check the engraved letter on your key and verify that it matches the engraved letter on the key-lock cylinder.
  2. Spray a 3-in-1 oil into the lock. Master Lock Lubricant with PTFE or WD-40 oil work best.
  3. Tap it lightly with a hammer.
  4. Try the key again.

In the absence of proof of purchase, you need to provide an Affidavit of Purchase and Ownership.
